What’s included in each meal plan?
  • 1 Breakfast
  • 3 Lunch/Dinner
  • 1 Snack, side, dessert, or drink
How many servings does each recipe contain?

The recipes have 4-5 servings, making them a great fit for families.

Need less?
If you need less food because you don’t have that many people in your household you can always half the recipe. Leftovers are always a great thing as well.

Need more?
If you have hungry teenagers or just a big family + need more food you can always double or triple the recipe. 

Will my kids like it?

Yes! Several subscribers have kids + they have said their kids love the meals! Every family is different though, but for $30/month, it’s worth a try!

Why not seven recipes?

When it comes to starting a healthy lifestyle + diet, starting slow is the key.  Most people often have go-to recipes that they still like to use, so I find that the 5 recipes allows people to try 1-2 new meals a week + add in more when they are comfortable!

What if I don’t like a meal?

That’s ok! Just skip it, try the others + share it with someone who may like it.  It’s impossible to portray to every person’s taste buds, but I can guarantee that your family will love the majority of the meals + you’ll have lots of options to choose from.

What if I don’t eat gluten, dairy, soy, or refined sugar free?

That’s ok!  Many of our subscribers don’t when they first sign up, but they soon come to love the recipes.  The bottom line is that the recipes are made with real, whole + unprocessed ingredients!

Do you offer AIP, Whole30 or Vegetarian Plans?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have these specific plans available. Although there are several vegetarian + vegan meals that will pop up in the plans, they will also include animal products as well. 

What if I need to eat nut-free, seafood-free or paleo?

No worries! Oftentimes in the notes section it will provide options for nut-free substitutions. The plans can also easily be changed + adapted so if you have trouble with an ingredient, please feel free to email me + I’d be happy to help so you can make it in compliance with how you need to eat!

How much will my groceries cost?

I totally understand that healthy eating can sometimes come at a cost, but the meal plans often save subscribers money because of 3 main reasons: 

  1. Fewer times eating out 
  2. Using all of the groceries purchased + reducing your food waste 
  3. Buying foods in season + locally so it’s cost effective. 

However, every household’s budget for food is different and the cost of groceries is not something provided in the plans. 

When do I get my first meal plan?

You will automatically get your meal plan after purchase.

Emails are going into my promotions tab or spam, how do I fix this?

If this is happening to you make sure to add megan@grateful-plates.com to your approved emails list.

For Gmail users, to prevent emails from hitting your promotions tab follow these steps:

  1. In Gmail click the settings (gear) icon in the upper right and choose “See all settings”
  2. Navigate to “Filters and blocked addresses”
  3. Under the filters section select “create new filter”
  4. In the from field add megan@grateful-plates.com then click “Create filter”
  5. Check “Categorize as” and choose “Primary” then click “Create filter”

This filter will prevent your emails from being pushed to the promotions tab.
